Of the 20 people on the UC Davis shuttle bus that overturned on Thursday who were evaluated at Sacramento hospitals, only one was admitted. Late Friday afternoon, that passenger remained a patient at UC Davis Medical Center and was listed in good condition.
The bus, which was carrying passengers from the Davis campus to the Medical Center Sacramento campus, hit a guardrail on U.S. Highway 50 in West Sacramento and rolled on its side at 8:44 a.m. yesterday (Nov. 30).
No major injuries were reported. Of the 26 people on board, 19 -- including the driver -- were treated and released; six did not need medical care; and one, as noted, was hospitalized.
